Clinker cooler and roller crusher replacement by FTI

Being one of the biggest cement producers in Peru, Unacem is always open to new technologies. After very detailed technical negotiations, Unacem has decided to replace their existing cooler with a brand new FTI clinker cooler together with a 3-roller crusher for their 1500 t/d clinker production line two due to the new targeted capacity and the many disadvantageous of the old technology in terms of process and mechanical aspects.

FTI designed a clinker cooler that would be able to reuse the existing cooler casing and refractory. Installation date is expected to be in September of 2019.
